As a designer who regularly works with white glove services, I was disappointed by The Velvet Touch's execution and accountability. Their crew arrived unprepared for contracted services, and rather than taking responsibility for the shortfall, they shifted blame to other parties. There appears to be poor internal communication between sales/quoting and field operations. For fellow designers and fabricators who rely on these services for client projects, their lack of due diligence in understanding their own role and capabilities can create significant issues for both senders and receivers. When problems arise, expect to spend considerable time disputing rather than collaborative problem-solving. Would recommend confirming all service details extensively in writing and having backup plans.

My family and I had an unexpected move, quite last min. The Velvet Touch was able to come within the week we called the to give us an estimate of the project. Moving day arrived and a team of six large men showed up bright and early with two large trucks. All the movers were wonderful and efficient, and careful with our belongings! They spent more than half the day moving non-stop! My parents would highlight that they loved that they were all so attentive to their possessions and even helped assemble some of our furniture at the new house. Would highly recommend!

We recently sold our home and needed a moving company that would pick up all our belongings, store them for several weeks and then deliver the contents to a destination yet to be determined. My mother's move was A-1 start to finish. From the first day when Kemo came to give the estimate he was honest and friendly. On move day the packers, Coco and Julio, worked so hard while being cheerful all the while. It was a long day but they never even took a break. They were so careful with her furniture and boxes and double packed things they wanted to be sure didn't get damaged in transit. They made a stressful event into a positive experience. We have not one thing negative to say about Velvet Touch movers, they were THE BEST!
