The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center - Valet

The rooms were fine. For those wanting to go shopping, the place was connected to the Crown mall. Also, it is connected to a Disney attraction. The downtown view from the room was nice. We were there for a family reunion.

The elevators malfunction quite a bit. It would be helpful to have signs up to direct guests to safety. The night valet didn’t acknowledge us until they finished their smoke break. The day valets were professional, kind and punctual. The grounds were beautiful. The beds are super comfy!

This place still auto charges you for internet… what’s up with that? Also since I’m using marriott points there is a crazy “redemption fee” of $52, never heard of that one before. Have to go to desk to remove

All future guests beware of this hotel and especially Elite Members, I don't recommend this hotel. Hotel rooms are antiquated, they don't allow you to charge parking to your room and they don't give Platinum+ Elite guests the consistent F&B voucher if you don't want points. Parking at this hotel is the worst! When you check-in, you cannot charge the parking to your room. Instead you get a card with a QR code and have to pay for it separately which asks all sorts of questions including plate number and state! Like most, who the heck remembers their plate number especially on a rental car!! This hotel has a lot to be desired.
