Thelens Excavating and Septic

I cannot speak highly enough about the responsiveness, professionalism, and overall service provided by Mandy and the team at Thelen’s Excavating & Septic. When our septic system froze during sub-zero temperatures, I expected delays given the obvious demand and weather conditions. Instead, within an hour of calling, Mandy had already coordinated dispatch and a crew was on-site. That level of efficiency and operational organization is exceptionally rare, especially during emergency conditions. Two technicians, including Kris (a long-tenured team member) and his associate, arrived promptly, fully equipped, and immediately began steaming and restoring the system. We just attempted to install a septic system through Thelens. While the lady on the phone was pleasant to work with, we were told 5-7 days and we'll be contacted with the estimate. A week-and-a-half later we called back, and were told they were still working on it. Then we called back, again, two weeks after our initial call and we were told by the man I talked to that they don't have record of us. Further, his only response was (and this is a quote), "well, I'm busy". There was no apology, no "we'll get out there right away", or any effort to make amends, just "I'm busy" followed up by "I'm just one guy". My suggestion: obviously this "one guy" is "too busy" so go with someone else. We waited two weeks for this result, I hope to save the rest of you some time.
