Ted and Rob of TJB-INC did a wonderful job designing and constructing a waterfall and bog filter for our backyard pond. Their expertise and the entire crew’s professionalism was evident throughout the process. We wanted a natural look using large stone for the waterfall and bog (no volcano mound!), and they understood our vision right away and made it happen in record time. I originally contacted Ted at TJB as a consultant for a water drainage issue. Ted suggested a creative and minimally invasive way to solve my problem. I haven't had an issue with drainage since. Other contractors I had contacted suggested I tear up half my yard to install a long drainage pipe which was going to be really expensive. I also hired TJB to install plantings in the front of my house and they did such a great job. In general, Ted is knowledgeable, kind, and will go above and beyond to meet the needs of his customers. He may be a challenge to get a hold of at first, likely because he is high demand, but once you do you'll have all his attention and focus.

We initially hired Ted to consult on a drainage issue that we had no idea where to start on. After reading lots of contradictory information online and feeling more confused he came and showed us exactly what to do, why to do it, and answered all questions we had. Ted even provided us with a list of all the specific materials and tools we would need to do the job ourselves. Ted was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and didn’t try to stop me anything but instead reassured me on a lot of worries I had about flooding (we live on a lake) and gave me instructions on a lot of the work we can do on our own!
