Toberman Electric LLC

We were very happy with the work Jake did from Toberman Electric LLC in Foristell, MO—he is skilled and professional and his prices are fair. However, some work was subcontracted to a colleague, and that portion was problematic. Holes were cut in the vaulted ceiling in the wrong places, the job was messy, and hours were overcharged. Jake addressed the issue and deducted a portion of the bill, which we appreciated. The odd part is that Jake told us he would be closing his business and referred us to another electrician, but he continues to take jobs locally right up the street. So hummm Overall, we think Jake does excellent work himself, but be careful if he subs the work out.

We worked with Toberman electric through our General contractor. Jake’s Communication skills are wonderful. He is professional, on time and keeps us in the loop. He’s a great electrician. He gave suggestions and guidance. Which we appreciated. We Definitely will use him again in the future.

Nothing but good things to say! Jake was super responsive and easy to get in touch with + schedule. They came out very quickly to assess the job we needed done and let us know when they had an unexpected earlier opening. Communication was outstanding. Tony was who actually performed the work for us and he was equally great to work with- very professional and skilled in his work. We had a wide spread of new electrical needs + fixing existing conditions and Tony managed to knock all of it out successfully and within a very reasonable amount of time. He was friendly and considerate of our home, intentional about leaving it as clean as possible and causing minimal disruption. 100% recommend and we will be repeat customers. Very unhappy. Paid 3k$ for him to establish electricity in my home he did the job wrong the first time. Then came back and dug everything back up and left me with a hole in the ground and little kids and animals running around. Scammed me for 3000$ and still have no electricity in my home. Do not do business with this company. He said he worked with quiver river often and knew the codes in my county. Yet he told me to call and get blueprints worked up so he knew what to do on the job because he was ineducated. He also shoved a ground rod in the ground and cut it down because it wouldn’t go in the ground and left a hole in the back of my home. Pictures below are of what he left me with.

The other reviewers aren’t wrong! Jake was responsive and able to get to me the same day I called. It was a Sunday and I had a dangerous situation so Jake made it happen. I’m very happy to have heat tonight and no fire danger now. The price was reasonable for Sunday service and he arrived when he said he would. Thanks, Jake!
