Tomes Builders

I had Tomes Builders do some insurance work work in my house. They took a long time to finish the job. They came back twice to repair the ceiling in my kitchen and still left it unfinished/sloppy paint job, but gladly took my deductible! The paint in the kitchen was unfinished and the molding in the bedroom was unfinished and mismatched. I will not use them again to work on my house in the future.

I won't get to rate them on the work because they quoted to state farm (and low balled it) and once I wanted to get it done, they ghosted me. I guess not enough of a profit!! And now I have to go back complaining to State Farm AND BEG for a reconsideration and get a new quote or come out of pocket a couple thousand to do it because that is the gap between their price and the one EVERYONE else is charging! NO WONDER THEY WON'T RETURN CALLS> I HAVE THE SIGNED AGREEMENT THO! So if I have to come out of pocket they will all see me in court. If the agreement they had me sign was not enough to make them feel like they had a job to do, then how honorable is this company??? Only in it for the money? Then give a fair quote so if you decide not to, that the customer can find someone else to do the
