Top Hat Chimney Sweeps

Super impressed by the thorough inspection, sharing what items needed to be addressed and finally providing an itemized repair quote. Having replaced the chimney chase pan (due to heavy rust), Top Hat not only did a nice repair job they also tossed off some limb fragments from my roof which was greatly appreciated. Check your chimney…use Top Hat.

Called them to do a cleaning for us. They came out and spent 45 minutes and found some things we needed to correct and said they could not clean because it could create more problems. I was thankful, but since they did not do the bulk of the service (Cleaning) I did not expect to be charged the full amount of $399. When I asked about this they told me "Well, the cleaning is just a free service we provide, so no discount when we don't do it." I asked, so if I needed you to clean in future it would be free? Response was "yes, but it would be attached to another $399 inspection." When the service lists "Cleaning" and no where says it is free on their website then this seems like a pretty unfair way of doing business. We won't be using them again.

Christopher was very knowledgeable and explored all options to make the best recommendations for our home. Moreover, he was courteous, professional, great communication and follow through, and trustworthy. We highly recommend!!

Christopher came to our house on Friday August 15, 2025. He called to let us know he was on his way. He was friendly, courteous, and professional at all times. He cleaned the chimney, checked in the attic, and cleaned our dryer vent. We did have some issues that he throughly explained to us and then a proposal to repair and the cost. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Top Hat for all of chimney needs and issues.
