Top of The Rock

Spectacular views of the city. We did this and the Empire State Building and this one won hands down as a viewing platform. The info on the way up is interesting but getting there and watching the city transition from day to night was amazing. With views facing downtown and Central Park it’s a really amazing spot. Recommend giving yourself lots of time if you want a good spot for sunset. We spent about two hours up there.

I recently enjoyed an unforgettable VIP tour of Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, and it was truly amazing. The VIP experience was well worth it — from the moment we arrived with priority entry and access to the VIP lounge to the guided tour and champagne toast, everything felt special and elevated. The observation decks offer breathtaking panoramic views of New York City that you won’t find anywhere else. We also experienced the Skylift attraction and other unique features like The Beam and rooftop gardens, which added even more excitement to our visit. The views during sunset were spectacular and made the whole experience feel timeless. Worth the time and cost! Go for sunset to get the full day to night experience. Even though it was very windy and cold, it was one of the most memorable moments of our trip. Spend your time and enjoy the view. The line for the elevator down took a little bit but the staff kept things moving as quick as possible.

I recently visited Top of the Rock, and it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences in New York. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to the city. The best time to go is around 5 PM — this way you get the full experience: daytime views, an incredible sunset, and then the city lighting up at night. It’s absolutely magical to see the transition. The view is simply breathtaking and really shows how beautiful and powerful New York is as a city. From above, you feel its scale, energy, and uniqueness in a completely different way. Definitely a must-visit spot!

We are advised to come at the allocated time, so do book your timings well. We went through a security check, then there was a short video about the building and the iconic photograph of workers sitting on the beam. Then further waiting in line to take a quick elevator ride to the top. Views were incredible and we could see the Empire state building very well. All in all a good experience, but does feel pretty pricey for a visit.
