Total Comfort Heating & Cooling

I had a Mitsubishi heat pump & heat pump water heater installed last year by Kevin. I had issues with getting my CleanHeat RI heat pump rebate approved because even though his company was listed as an approved installer on the RI Energy approved contractor list there was some paperwork or licensing that had to be updated before I could be approved. I handled all the communication between CleanHeat RI and Total Comfort when I felt it really should have been Kevin handling it but I did finally get my rebate. Kevin gave me a very competitive price for the system so I would have given 4 stars if I didn’t have to ask him numerous times to come by to bolt down the heat pump to the pad, he finally did this but I felt that was something I shouldn’t have had to request & should have been done durin

Total Comfort just completed installation of a new boiler and Heat Pump Hot Water Heater at my house. Kevin explained the various options for my house and what he would install if it was his own house he genuinely cares. Installation was delayed due to availability of parts from the distributor (no surprise there supply chain issue) Kevin was in communication thru the whole process and assured me that it would be completed on the rescheduled date which it was. Kevin completed the job in one day and thoroughly cleaned up after, he arranged for a company to dispose of the old boiler which they picked up in less than 48 hours after he was done. The quality of work was 5 stars Kevin is a master of his craft. Don’t hesitate to use Total Comfort for your HVAC needs.

Thumbs up! Kevin was knowledgable, patient and explained everything so I could understand it (which is no small feat). He really went above and beyond in our switch from oil heat over to mini split heat pumps to heat our home. His quote was reasonable, better than most we got. The job was quick and well cleaned up. He advised us on how to get our home heated more efficiently with the new system and followed up when I had a (small unrelated to the work he did) issue. We had Total Comfort (owned and operated by Kevin Andrade) install a mini-split system and gas boiler/water heater in our home a little over a year ago. Since his installation, we have had to spend around $2,000 and countless hours of time to get the numerous issues fixed that resulted from his very shoddy and neglectful work, which he dismissed and refused to acknowledge and correct. Some of these were serious issues with the boiler that were potentially house damaging and water damage from improperly installed and insulated mini-split lines. Poor communication and uncaring attitude throughout the entire process from beginning (starting after he received the deposit) to end. We had a 6-zone Mitsubishi system installed in our house. What a fantastic job! This offer was the best of four others and the proposed equipment was the latest model unlike some of the other quotes. Kevin's team works very professionally. Each day after work all rubbish is thoroughly cleaned out. The entire job was done in two days. Our house is finally comfortably cool from corner to corner on both floors and all my rhododendrons and hostas survived the renovation. I am curious about the efficiency of this system during the famous New England's winters but that is for another day... THANK YOU!!!
