I would not recommend this company for crawlspace encapsulation. The workers were hard-working but not very skilled, and multiple times a manager had to come out to correct mistakes. Biggest issue: they didn’t fully complete the job. Even though site manager Ivan agreed during the proposal that certain things would be done, the company later refused, saying, “If it’s not written in the contract, we won’t do it.” That’s misleading and frustrating. They also installed a crawlspace well below grade (which would have caused flooding until I pushed to have it fixed) and left a large gap under a basement door they promised would be airtight. We had work performed by Total Home Performance thru a energy savings program at Delmarva Power. Derek and Guthrie installed insulation and a brand new A/C heat pump, Both crews did really great work, professionally and exactly the way it was cited in their proposal. We have noticed right after the insulation was completed, how the upstairs was warmer in the really cold weather. We highly recommend Total Home Performance.

I cannot say enough good things about Total Home. We found ourselves in a heck of a situation about a month after closing on our home. I can’t stress this enough - DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR CRAWLSPACE. We learned the hard way not all companies in the area know what they’re doing. Save money by replacing your own faucet. Paint your own house. Do NOT roll the dice on a cheap quote on the structure of your home. I saw THP post about how people get $10k in rebates from Delmarva, but assumed they were for super expensive projects, or with how my luck was going, I wouldn’t qualify.
