Total Landscape Designs & Development

On the recommendation of a family member, (and after consulting with several other contractors), I hired Total Landscape Designs & Development to replace our existing redwood deck with an upgrade. We wanted something that would be low maintenance, open our views to the canyon, and that would last! In consultation with Juan, we decided to go with Azek Trex for the flooring and stairs and horizontal iron railings all around. From start to finish, the project proceeded as expected and came in on time and on budget. Juan was a great communicator and had ideas and recommendations that improved the finished project. We just wrapped up a major front yard landscaping project and I could not be happier. We did hard scaping, planting, irrigation, lighting , and drainage. Juan and his team were fast and responsive. I was super impressed with the quality and the value of the work. Once we agreed on the project and the quote there were no surprises or hidden costs. Most importantly Juan is totally honest, straight forward, and easy to work with. I will continue to use them when we upgrade our backyard in a few years.

Juan and his whole team have been fantastic with our backyard project in Escondido. We were starting from scratch in a new development so there was a lot of work to be done. I chose TLD because they were responsive, fairly priced and we had seen their work in the neighborhood. They think of details we would not have and have been very patient with us every step of the way. I would definitely use them again!

Juan and his team did a great job at our home. They hauled away a huge amount of concrete and our old broken deck, fixed some long -standing drainage issues in our yard (installed underground drainage pipes, a sump pump, and re-graded areas of the yard), rebuilt a small deck, poured a concrete path, and developed a simple landscape design. Our new yard now has a seating area, and a mix of native San Diego plants, and other drought-tolerant species. Juan was very pro-active with communication. The crew was hard-working, and a pleasure to interact with, day-to-day. The project was delivered on time, on budget. It looks great, we are very happy. I included a snapshot from the completed yard, and an AI image of the yard when the plants are mature in a few years. It will fill-in beautifully.
