Please keep in mind, I am not an account holder with this company. I am simply a resident that rents and my landlords use this company. I had the company come out in regards to fixing the water heater for my apartment after eight days of not having hot water because they kept saying the part didn’t come in, it got delayed, this and that come to find out they could’ve just replaced the water heater which the landlord was more than willing to do and it would’ve fixed the problem immediately rather than waiting eight days. The guy that came was disrespectful. He told us that it wasn’t his problem and there was nothing he could do, which I understand that stuff happens, things get delayed, what not but if they would’ve relayed the information that they could’ve just replaced the water heater,

Talk about a company that just does not care!!! Had a tech at my house yesterday to work on the boiler, was here for 4 hours, today it has a code and is not working. Also requested an oil delivery but the light fluffy snow was apparently to much to deal with for the driver so no delivery. OK my bad, but no call. Nothing! Pathetic!!!

Been told 3 times in the last 6 months that I would "Get a call from the service department" only to never receive a call. You clearly can't count on these people to be competent, they only thing they are prompt with is sending you the bill.

We had a very negative experience with Townsend propane. It took several weeks to get an installation appointment. During those several weeks, we sent over multiple photos of the spot for the propane, our current hookups, and the area surrounding our home. Once the propane finally arrived, the installation went smoothly and the technician was very kind. He was just receiving poor instruction from his manager, Joe. Once I confirmed that the heat was working and the technician was gone, I left my dog in my home and left for several hours. When I arrived back at my home, the propane tanks had been removed without my knowledge or consent. My dog was left in below freezing temperatures without heat for several hours and ended up getting sick. We immediately contacted Townsend Propane to see why

After having twins at 32 weeks and spending a month in the NICU our last priority was checking our oil and making sure it was full. We had just brought our babies home and ran out unfortunately on a Thursday evening. Friday we called over 10 companies who basically told us its not their problem and to wait til next week… Townsend was the exception. Not only did they show compassion but they squeezed us in the SAME day to make sure we had heat for our newborns. This is a mistake we will never make again however them going above and beyond got them a lifelong customer. Highly recommend.
