Went to tractor supply today, got a bag of candy and a pocket knife. Got to register and cashier stood there for a bit, then rudely said " can I help you" in a very abrupt hateful tone. I said " yes I want to buy this" she then walked over slowly and looked at what I put on counter and then told me to flip it over, like she was not going to touch what was there at all... and she never did. I was like hmm ok, I flipped the candy over to be scanned. Then she said now the other one, also demanding and rude tone. I flipped it but her tone and the service was so rude. She then told me total and we had to get a bag ourself and tell her we wanted the receipt. Not good service at all.

This company makes me feel at home even though I live out of town. I’m here frequently to help my parents with their home projects. Great customer service, especially at the Longview TX store. Nevarro was so helpful with a complex transaction. I appreciate her resourcefulness, positive attitude, and patience.

I went in a couple days ago. We have a dog with a talent for snapping the long lead tie outs we use for potty breaks (we have a side yard for play). She is only 55 pounds but has snapped leads made for 120 lbs dogs. She is two years old and has snapped 6 of these leads. I went in looking for some sort of more durable rope. The woman at the front, Danielle, referred me to Larry, who she said had expertise on the matter. Instead of helping me pick a more durable lead, he lead me to this. A fence tension spring, so if and when she pulls at the end of the lead, the spring will absorb the force, allowing enough give that she shouldn't be able to break and further leads. I walked into the store feeling overwhelmed, unsure, and frankly a bit defeated after a long day. What began as a quick stop turned into a moment that genuinely restored my faith in good people. From the moment I asked for help, Bela treated me not like just another customer, but like a neighbor, a friend, even family. Her knowledge of the store was impressive to say the least. I had questions about products I barely understood, and not only did Bela answer them with ease. Even though I wasn’t in the best mood, she explained everything patiently and thoroughly. Wonderful customer service!! Every employee was not only helpful, but friendly. I brought my shih tzu in with me to get his food, and the cashier, Jennifer, gave him treats. Not only one treat, but tried a few different ones to find one that my dog likes.
