Tracy’s Carpet did a wonderful job installing hardwood floors and carpet in our new home. Jill came out to the house to measure and was in the store to offer her recommendations based on the space. We were impressed with the selection and communication as well as being able to get the sales price for the materials well before cut off date. Steve came out to the hardwood installation and went above and beyond. The other members of their team did an exceptional job installing new carpets. The floors look GREAT! Let me assure you that the other reviews in no way reflect the experience I have had with Tracy's carpet. My first experience was 5 years ago when we moved into a house needing much TLC. Carpeting for our family room was a top priority. Jill helped me choose a great carpet for a family with young children and recommended a padding that has kept the carpet looking fresh and new to this day. They worked with us to get the job done quickly so that we were finally able to use the room with little delay. Hands down the best hardwood floors we’ve ever had. My husband and I have owned multiple homes where we have installed new and refinished existing flooring, none of which came close to the quality and workmanship we experienced with Tracy’s Carpets. We called and spoke with someone right away and arranged for someone to come over to look at the space. Jill arrived on time for our appointment, took the time to measure the area herself (rather than sending an employee), reviewed several possibilities and never once pressed for a sale or a timeline. Jill and Steve are amazing. Not only did they give us the best advice with regard to installing hickory floors in our Carolina room and two bedrooms, but the installation was done with great expertise. We are sooooo thrilled with the workmanship. In addition to the floor we had a total bathroom makeover. It was totally gutted and together with Jill we now have the most beautiful bathroom. She had the best tile guy who was so meticulous and took his time to make it to perfection. We love it. Talking about customer service: since the floors were not done by Thanksgiving they brought over a huge rug so we could celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. We moved from Texas to NC 3 years ago and quickly had to purchase a home. The house we chose had carpet throughout most of it. The previous owners had inside cats whom my entire family is deathly allergic to. Jill came over and measured, quoted us for new hardwood, padding, carpet etc for most of our home. The work was done quickly and she worked very hard to stretch our budget, provide quality high end finishes, and as an added bonus surprised me and replaced the carpet in my Master Closet as well!
