First time having to go here, twice in one day. Both times very helpful, knowledgeable, and going above and beyond to make sure my hardware was in good shape. Not only did they find the correctly sized screw I needed for my closet door handles, they re-threaded the handle so that the 50 year old gunk was drawn out of the threads. They didn't have to do that, but it helped so much.

You try to support local business but they make it difficult to justify. They lure you in with coupons like $10 off $50, but there is no way to use them. They mark down an item $1 and say that it is "on sale" so that they do not have to honor the discount. Shady business practice and pretty disappointing. I still gave it 2 stars because it is convenient for things like hardware, but from now on I guess I'll save money and buy from Amazon or big box like everyone else.

Convenient for if you need something close by, but they charged my son $25 to cut/duplicate a key, that he brought in a blank of. $25 just for the labor to cut it based on an existing key. Big-D lock said it would be around $5. Avoid this place, especially if you want a key cut.

If you know you will need help, then don't go on a weekend with an hour left before closing. Even the manager didn't seem to care with his paltry apology; knowing the staff seemed to be of the entitled generation of today.

Great hardware store. Clean and well stocked. Friendly, helpful staff. Sometimes I just go in to walk the aisles and look around.
