TruGreen Lawn Care

TruGreen is mediocre at best. Half the time they don’t show, but still charge us. Weeds are still rampant. Nobody is in the local office to talk stop in to talk to. I’ve tried, door is always locked. Almost impossible to get ahold of someone on the phone. Payment app doesn’t work properly. But wants to send $100 bill to collections. Which was paid immediately, and would have been paid 3 months ago if we could have reached someone. Very comical to be honest. Would NOT recommend and we will be looking for new service next year.

Here's all you need to know about TruGreen. We had a problem with the last TruGreen application of fertilizer. It was sprayed on instead of being injected into roots as sales person promised. I called their home office (out of state) to lodge a complaint . The person I talked with was very polite and apologized. She asked if she could send someone to our house to fix the problem. I didn't think that would work but thought I'd give it a try. She said someone would come within 2 to 3 days. We'll surprise surprise. Today Delaney one of the local supervisors knocked on my door to ask about my problem. She listened, said she was sorry and would correct the problem. Then she injected fertilizer in every bush and tree. Once finished she stopped back at door and left her name and personal number

Another update: back down to 2 stars. I got another sales call. The rep wanted to sell their aerate and roll services. If they paid attention to the lawn they already service, they'd know I have new sod that they just fertilized. They proceeded to ask me about my trees, shrubs and bugs. So tired of their weekly sales calls! I am updating my review from 2 to 5 stars after being contacted by TruGreen. They promised no more sales calls. I use their lawn service. I'm very pleased with that service, but they constantly call me trying to get me to use their other services that I do not want. They continue to call and are very pushy. I'm tempted to find another provider because of their nuisance sales calls.

I have been using Trugreen for a few years now. I mainly use their fertilizing and weed control program. So far my experience with the specialists that come to treat the lawn has been very positive. Many times if I’m home when they show up to apply the product I will have a conversation with them about the service and the product. Several times they have asked if I have any questions or comments which is nice because one thing that I have requested is if they will please spray product a little beyond the boundary between my lawn and my neighbors, this way it will better limit their weeds from creeping into my lawn. And they have been very accommodating to my request.

Let the pics speak After hiring TruGreen to take care of my yard, and after full year of service this is how the yard looking!!. After talking many times to the manager with promises to have somebody "field manager I guess" follow up with me, that never happened. I tried to call many times, no success.
