TruGreen Lawn Care

*Another update. From 1 to 3 I am updating this review to 3 stars. Mainly becaise of Tess at my local office. If next year runs smooth and the weeds are not a problem. I hope to get back to a 5 star rating. ****Update: Absolute failure, while the Technicians are nice. The lawn has become embarrassing. Dead spots, over run with weeds. I had to dig up large sections of what used to be nice grass, that was just over grown patches of weeds. I now have to re top soil and re seed. I call daily and weekly, been waiting for Aeration and seeding for 4 weeks. Canceled on me again today. I call customer service and they are nice, but they can do nothing to actually help. I have been very patient, I am giving up at this point. Will try someone else, they can not do worse. Previous 5 star re

I am a new customer with TruGreen. This is my second service and I had a lime service today. everything went well. Aeration is next. The only complaint I have so far is not being able to schedule a specific day for my services and aeration. I am a pet sitter so it is very important that I can schedule on the days I have no pets. I didn't know that was impossible to do. People schedule sitting way in advance and not like most businesses they cannot reschedule. is there anyway possible I can schedule on specific days? It was good to talk to Michael and get a few things cleared up. I suggest that customers speak to their tech a few times if possible. Michael was friendly and professional and patiently answered my question from the viewpoint of the person on the ground. It will enable better communication with the company as a whole. I added a few pictures. My yard has not been treated for more than 15 years. This is what it looks like after the first application. After a season of treatment I am sure it will be in great shape to start 2025. Already it is more comfortable going barefoot in my yard.

★☆☆☆☆ – TruGreen Service Has Been Extremely Disappointing I signed up for TruGreen’s full-service lawn care program expecting professional results — including fertilization, pre- and post-emergent weed control, and overseeding. Unfortunately, what I received has been far from acceptable. When I managed the lawn myself in 2024, it looked healthier, fuller, and greener than it does now under TruGreen’s care in 2025. I’ve included photo comparisons showing a clear decline in turf quality and a noticeable increase in weed activity — particularly broadleaf weeds, which are spreading across the yard. When I expressed my concerns to the technician during a recent visit, he assured me he would apply a heavy spray to address the problem. After giving it time to take effect, I still see no meanin

TruGreen was to service our front and side yard. After a year there is no difference in the yard. I have used them in the past and they made are yard look like a park. My neighbor told me she saw one of their techs place a serviced sign in my yard and sit in his vehicle for 15-20 minutes and not perform any service. I would be very cautious about using this company. The yard beyond the fence is my neighbor’s yard and it looks much nicer than ours.
