TruGreen Lawn Care

Wish I could rate them lower than 1 star, was sold the service of lawn care and mosquito defense in June 2024 I have three major bare patches in my lawn that I obviously wanted corrected, salesperson obviously tells me "yep they'll be taken care of" , I also have a big mulch area and rock area that I have a fire pit and playground for my children set up that started sprouting weeds after they sprayed down their initial batch of fertilizer, I asked the technician David b when he came out if he could spray in there to get rid of the growth that had come up after they had sprayed the fertilizer during the previous treatment, he informed me that no they don't do that and if I wanted to get rid of the weeds I would have to go around and use my roundup spray that I had sitting out in the yard. I

My representative that took care of my lawn this morning. His name was Taylor. He did an amazing job of explaining to me what was going on with my Yard also, he was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain, he didn’t rush, even though I knew he had other clients to take care of. He has a very friendly personality and also very caring. Thank you for such a great experience with Trugreen.

So I want to summarize this quickly for those who don’t have time: look for another company. For those who want more backstory: I hired trugreen last year for lawn care. I have always been super paranoid about house presentation and grass, but don’t have the time to do it myself. For the first 9 months with them, the grass generally looked good. There was a continued issue with them not getting all the weeds, but the yard grew well. The first photo shows what it looked like July 6th 2024. The other photos show what it looked like not even a month later. A trugreen specialist showed up one day for the monthly treatment and put down a supplement he said was to combat disease (I believe it was iron, but I can’t remember). Shortly after he did that, the most fertile parts of my lawn died. I

We were told when we signed up we would be getting a double application which we have not. We were told the applications would kill these weed coming up in our yard and grass would become healthier which the weeds are still growing and the grass is dying, not good at all. We were told the importance of the service would keep the moles that are destroying my yard out of my yard and help save the grass. Well at this point none of this appears to be true moles are still here and getting worse. I can’t reach anyone on the phone I get put on hold and waited and waited with no human response. Tried calling the sells guy who sold us the plan, no answer left him a voice mail weeks ago with no response as of 3 weeks later. Very disappointed in this business and lack of customer service. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that was here on 9-17-2025, but I finally was able to talk to someone about my yard. He was very informative and took me through my entire yard and explained my problems. Was not in a rush and made sure I didn’t have anymore questions. Didn’t necessarily like his answers (due to what I was going to have to do and spend) but I believe his was honest with me. Thank You
