While the facility and the staff were excellent, the truck I was given was not. The driver side door did not fully close, so cold air entered the cab all throughout the ride. When driving, it felt as though the engine was dragging, making it difficult to steer and maneuver at times, and being unable to adjust the mirrors was an inconvience. I am perhaps shorter than most "truck drivers" and visibility at times was difficult. I did return the vehicle after the scheduled time, I was charged $60 on top of the extended rental of $75. I think the difficulties I experienced with the truck should warrant some type of refund, plus, the mileage was under what was prepaid for and I put in more gas than what I received.

This location provides excellent service. Ayana and her staff do an amazing job. They are courteous and professional every time I’m there. Keep up the great work.

The ladies behind the desk discriminated against me because of my age. I came in smiling, and left unhappy because of their negative energy. I didn’t have accesse which I understood, so I had my parents give a verbal authorization with the 800 number, however, the lady said the representative doesn’t have authorization to do that. The representative over the phone was confused because he said he’s never had that problem. These ladies pick and choose who they want to be nice too based on how a person looks. They tried to act like they were nice to me and respectful when my slightly older relative (who I was told also didn’t have access while I waited but when she arrives, she can have access), however, my husband saw how they were talking to me and said that wasn’t right. I had a great experience renting a U-Haul from the East 95th Street location in Chicago. From start to finish, the customer service was friendly, clear, and professional. I rented a truck from September 1 to September 4. Upon pickup, I was able to take photos of the mileage and condition of the truck with no issues. The staff clearly explained the process and even helped me when I needed to extend my rental by a day. They were patient and made the adjustment without any hassle. When I returned the truck, the mileage and return time were accurately documented. Even though I went slightly over the mileage I had paid for, the staff were transparent about the extra charges and explained everything clearly. Nothings needed for improvement. The staff are really nice & pleasant people to work with. Facility is clean. Easy to access the vehicles.
