U-Haul Moving & Storage of Winona

I’ve returned a truck and car hauler, rented a truck and dropped off another 6x9 trailer here. So far, no issues. Sometimes the return person doesn’t have their phone to check me in, but will get the receipt soon after. Have not used their storage or any other services, so cannot comment on those aspects. I will be renting another truck soon and expect that I will use this location again due to the amount of available vehicles they have.

Beware of this Uhaul location, because even if you book your rental ahead of time and have everything prepped and ready to go if you do not make it to pick up your rental right on the dot at the exact time they will give your rental away which is exactly what happened to me and the lady at the desk said there’s just nothing she could do about it and it just completely ruined my entire day in which I had to go to the Rochester location which is 40 miles away just to pay $200 more. When I was only renting a truck for in town because I was doing an in town move right in Winona, and I said why would you think that just cause I was a few minutes late that you thought that I wouldn’t want my rental when obviously when people have to move they don’t have days to reschedule they have to be out at

I had the best experience with the gentleman who rented me the trailer and hooked it up. I wish I got his name. The best customer service ever! I had a few issues with my electrical and he helped me without even asking.

I like the fact that my storage is inside, protected from the elements. And the location is decent. The workers there are okay, I guess. But they jack up the prices, and don't tell you they'll be doing so!

Was never told we had to pay for mileage. I was told 144 was my total and then when I returned the truck I was charged additional 327.00 dollars. I will not recommend this location to anyone. I even asked the girl that was working would it be cheaper to drop off at a different location when are completed she said no it would cheaper to bring back to the same location. Also I didn’t do a in town move. I did a move from Winona to ManKota and brought the truck back early since we were completed with it. I technically had it until today probably would’ve been charged 500 dollars or somethin.
