U-Pack

After getting quotes from about 15 different companies including another “U” named company, U-pack was the cheapest option to move across multiple states that was also recommended by a colleague so I knew I could trust them with my belongings. They did not disappoint! The whole process was easy from start to finish, I got to keep the trailer for 3 business days to load and again to unload so I didn’t feel rushed. I also ended up using less space in the trailer so they adjusted the price when I called to let them know. Great customer service as well, very friendly and easy to work with. They give you a support wall to prevent your belongings from shifting too much in the trailer and the ramp is pretty easy to use just don’t lift the yellow handle while adjusting the ramp (you’ll need 2 peop

Pros: it was easy to reserve and we liked that all the steps were easily outlined online and in the moving packet.There was never a question of what we should do next. It was also very affordable. And we got our stuff faster than expected. Cons: I wish they could give a more realistic timeframe for when you would get your stuff. We chose to bring a lot more with us in our car (barely fit it in there) because we were expecting our items in 4 to 6 days. However, our items literally took a day to arrive at our new destination. It was actually there just waiting for us (we moved 3 days later). Had we known it would get there so quickly, we would’ve put pretty much everything on there. Also, there was a hole in the truck and some of our stuff got wet, including a box with clothes. I’ve include

ABF freight has a great service called U-PACK pods. I had a fantastic experience moving from the West Coast to the east coast using their service. The Great advantage they have is their ability to move the pods safely even in tight spaces. Where some services don't have the equipment to do this. Their drivers and operators are top-notch five-star. They're nice on time and know what they're doing. My stuff was basically unmoved inside the pod during the course of a 6-month journey from place to place. Ultimately ending on the East Coast. I highly recommend them for your move of any kind. Especially if you are space challenged. And the most affordable for moving in storage.

First time U-Pack user. Great experience from start to finish. Quote was easy, no hassles, no surprises. Phone service excellent from beginning to end. They don’t try to sell you extras and are flexible and responsive. Great personnel on the ground. Sent a box 2500 miles from Arizona to South Carolina flawlessly and on time. By the way, got some loading and unloading help from their affiliated Hire-a-Helper network and they were great too. I would not hesitate to use them again! Great job!

Our truck was supposed to be delivered to us on Monday the 13th, picked up on Wednesday the 15th and an expected delivery date to our new home within 2-4 business days. Upon the delivery of our trailer on Monday the 13th of January, my wife and I inspected the trailer to find a considerable amount of moisture inside of the trailer, so much so that we were not comfortable using the trailer. I was ensured me that all of the trailers were inspected before being delivered to a customer, this was obviously not true. Upon further inspection of the trailer, it appeared that the gasket seals on the truck had completely failed, allowing moisture to seep into the trailer.
