U-Pack

We just used Upack to move from upstate NY to Florida. Overall, a great experience. Service was top notch and they respond very easily and at most hours. We had a little trouble with the loading dock operation but they quickly responded and resolved it. Our stuff did get a little wet in some spots and we found some ants when we unloaded. Not sure where these two things came from, but we were able to overcome that easily. Nothing important got wet. You only pay for the number of feet used, which is awesome. We had estimated 20 feet and only used 13’ so our price dropped $1200. Drivers were friendly and helpful as were the phone reps. I would 100% use Upack again. The price ended up being about the same as a Uhaul truck rental and we didn’t have to pay the fuel or drive! It was a huge win!

I really like U-Pack, we used them twice in one year. Both very long distant moves and into Canada/USA. Both times they used ABF Freight as the carrier and it has been a great experience. They are able to drop off the trailer when needed at fairly short notice (less than 2 weeks). And pick up when needed (not on weekends though). Other than the trailers being quite large and needing a large spot to park it it truly is an easy way to move. Drivers have always been so friendly! Both times it took less than 2 weeks to get our stuff, not bad for a 3000 + mile distance plus border crossings. I’d say the price is reasonable, a far move will always be expensive anyway. This was a great way to move our belongings from Columbus, GA all the way to Watertown, NY. It was great since we didn't have to worry about driving anything ourselves and being a target for theft. Will definitely use this company again for our next move.
