UES Heating and Cooling Services

This place is a scam. Their listing says they are UES heating and cooling, but the company that shows up is not even based in Manhattan. In addition they the repair they did failed 3 hours after the technician left, I called them to come back and they still have yet to come back, its been 3 days now.

Would avoid. We hired UES Heating and Cooling to do seasonal maintenance on our HVAC system. The technician was friendly but caused our working AC system to stop working properly immediately post his visit by overcharging it. Also, we found upon later inspection, he did not complete cleaning of the system. When we raised concerns after their servicing, they misdiagnosed the problem and claimed we would need to open up our ceiling for them to further investigage it. This was not accurate and thankfully we did not do it. We hired another firm to repair the damage done by UES Heating and Cooling and finish the cleaning.

This place is a scam! They came to do a boiler inspection, talked me into servicing my HVAC system, did not do the work they said they would do and charged a HUGE amount of money! I had to call in a reputable company to check everything (Patrick) from UES said my compressor was broken and needed to be replaced. Turns out the system is just fine - he had turned off the power at my breaker for my condenser saying it would catch on fire so I had no AC for the month of July). He was supposed to clean the filters and did not but pretended to. A complete rip off and scam artist. Patrick is a conman!

UES Heating and Cooling Services will definitely be my first call for any future HVAC needs. Great company and great people.
