Great dive shop to take SCUBA classes. The owner and instructors are competent, and will go the extra mile to ensure you know, understand, and master each objective in class. My 15 year old son was certified by John Morris, and instructor in training, Beth. All of the employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful (thank you, Chas, Dave, and Kelsey)!! I took the course to refresh my skills and I'm sure that I learned more in our class than I ever did the first time! Thank you, Underwater Works, for giving us such excellent service and care!

I called Underwater works up asking for a charter dive and I was a solo diver. Chad told me to stop by and talk to him. I explained I am getting back into diving but have not dove in many years. He showed me his business layout and training courses and by the time I left there I had chill bumps I was so pumped. This is what I have been looking for! They have been in business for 40 years and do not turn and burn out divers, they build a dive family. Man I wish I knew about this place sooner. I actually went the next day and brought fins but they didn’t just sell me fins, they got me in the pool and let me try several pair that worked best for me. Great local shop with wonderful service! Its nice to go to a store where the owner really cares and wants to help. If you have diving/snorkeling gear needs and/or advice, I'll highly recommend you swing by!

I got certified with Underwater Works two years ago. The training I received was great. Chas ensured I had the best training and was ready from day 1. His experience and concern for his students is readily apparent. Pool time, classroom time and open water time are spent making sure you are ready and also that you enjoy your dive time completely. He and his staff are always available for any dive needs or if you just have questions or want to talk about dive experiences. I do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to train or re-train.
