Nelson Carballea, owner of Unique Flooring & Design, in Oviedo, is one of the most honest and conscientious business owners I have ever dealt with. When he came to do his final measurements for the new carpeting I had chosen at his store, he did something astonishing. Rather than try to sell me new carpet and padding, he told me that my existing carpet was in great shape and just needed stretching where it had bunched up (due to poor quality installation and carpet cleaning in previous years). We shopped and looked at all the big box stores and, although they said the installers were fully backed by the store, we were more comfortable using a small, family owned business with years of experience and a tremendous install team.
