If we could give less than 1 star we would. We hired Pete to clear a wooded area on the back and side of our yard. He started off great but then did not return to finish the job or carry out the work as per his contract. He left our yard uneven. We were told he would treat with weed killer but it is obvious he never did. Left our beds edged unevenly, leaving dirt piles on our lawn. The ground was not prepared for seed, charged us additionally to do so and install seed but it wasn't done properly. Pete promised he would return to complete the job correctly but never did. Was paid almost $6000 for an incomplete poor job. My husband had to fix what was done to our yard by Pete. Do not use this company.

Pete Tenis (the owner) came out to my house to evaluate some water in my basement that had been leaking in. Other contractors wanted to perform expensive excavations, install french drains, etc. assuming that water was leaking in through the foundation. Pete took a look and quickly diagnosed that the problem was our bulkhead and just needed to be plugged up with some liquid nails and weather stripping for about $20 in materials. I did what he said to do, and I haven't had a drop of water in my basement since. Pete did not charge for the evaluation and did not push any services on me. I literally saved 4-7k on his logical advice. Very honest. Highly recommend Unique Services for any home project or landscaping need.
