Universal Appliance Repair

After 2other horrible technicians from 2 other companies, I was happy to find Universal. They were courteous and professional (Dennis was our tech). He diagnosed and EXPLAINED what was wrong ordered the parts and was back in a week to install. The price was fair with no hidden fees. The office did there part as well by calling us and letting us know when the part was in. These 2 other companies that came in was like begging them to get the job done calling over and over to get no info, they were nightmares! Do yourselves a favor, if you want a repair done right, call Universal, I have nothing but positive comments to say about this company!

NO NOT use them, they are frauds! I called this company to come fix my washing machine that was leaking water. The guy came out spent a lot of time on the phone and then told me he Couldn't duplicate the problem but it would be $69, he had 2 very soaked towels on my hardwood floors next to my washer and said that was from him cleaning up under the washer. I said I cleaned the water up already before he came, he said well it must be extra water in the line or you didn't close the door all the way, but it doesn't leak and I couldn't see any problem BUT he tells me that when I call him back for the same issue he will deduct the service call from his 179 labor fee plus the cost of parts. I called the number on the invoice when he left, someone answered, he could care less, asked if I wanted

I had a horrible experience with this company. The guy who came to do the service is Russian he didn't speak any English and when he tried to explain to me the inspection that he did, I couldn't understand a word. I told him that the problem with my washer was the water level and the spin cycle leaving the the clothes wet. He ran a spin cycle without any clothes. Hello!! how are you able to see the problem with no clothes in the washer! Then he checked the water coming out of my hose and said it was my water pressure. Again how are you able to determine that with no clothes in the washer?. But the worst part was his attitude, he got frustrated at me because I couldn't understand what he was saying. Please save yourself a headache and don't use this company.

Universal Appliance repair is one of the worst buisness's that I have ever worked with. My dryer is 2 years old and stopped spinning, they came out and replaced a part, and two months later it had the same problem so they had to come back, and told me it needed two more parts. Two months later the exact same problem happened and they told me I need another part. In the mean time their technicians would show up two hours late, with no apologies. I truly believe they are a huge scam and leave you at the mercy of their knowledge, constantly replacing stuff that didn't need replacing and no solutions. They dont guarantee their work or and keep demanding money. DO NOT USE THEM THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NICE PEOPLE.

Service was great. I would recommend. The JenAir product is very poor. I installed all new JemAir appliances 10 months ago and have already had to replace my double oven (which took 3 months to get it done!) and have had your service team out for my JenAir refrigerator three times ( and still no remedy!). My $2000 refrigerator freezes my food! Never buy JenAir!!!
