Universal's staff was great. They greeted me immediately and were helpful in picking out a stone that would be best for a shower bench and curb in our bathroom shower remodel. We went with a beautiful slab of quartzite and I couldn't be happier! The cuts came out awesome and they were quick and communicative and priced fairly! Highly recommend.

I called 23 granite supply vendors from south Boston to Northen NH looking for a remnant of this top. It’s called Labrador Antique. No one had anything. Back in 96 it was quarried out of Norway then discontinued. Universal Stone had a remnant of the top I was looking for! Adriano shaped the top and had it ready quickly. Very happy! These folks are true craftsmen. They just did my kitchen in Blue Fusion quartzite not the easiest material to work with. Double bull nose is perfect. Everything is exactly as I envisioned it. Keep in mind this is a small family business and like any business if one job runs over time wise it throws off their entire schedule. They know stone and are a wealth of information IF you listen. Just in the few times I was at their store I heard so many people not listen to their recommendations. It makes no sense to me. They are the professionals.

Let me start by saying that I very seldom award 5 stars to any company, because I believe that there is always room for improvement. I also consider myself as the type of customer who has a very critical eye for perfection. Very few companies deserve or work hard enough to garner 5 stars. Universal does! Everyone at Universal did a great job and they couldn't had done it better. Adriano was great from the very beginning; I explained to him what I was looking for, showed him pictures of what I was trying to match and provided him with a template. That was the end of my involvement. No pressure, no upselling, no haggling. He showed respect for my choice and time and offered me suggestions and his expertise. I then left the country for 16 days. I highly recommend Universal Stone. They first did a small job for us (Cambria quartz vanity top with double sinks). The work was completed promptly and looks beautiful. They then did a bigger job (entire slab of Cambria) for our master bath. They gave good advice, paid attention to details that I would not have considered, and we very much enjoyed working with them from choosing the quartz through the installation. The end result is beautiful. I then had a rush job trying to get a relative's condo on the market, and they templated and installed a new kitchen countertop and two bathroom vanities, complete with sinks, in less than two weeks. Their pricing is fair, and their work is outstanding.
