Booked a move through Unpakt, all confirmed. Happened to check my inventory 1.5 days before the move and see that the move says “declined”. No phone call, no email, no indication that I didn’t, in fact, all of a sudden, have any movers coming for a move literally a day away. I called the moving company I booked through Unpakt and they said they never even got any info from them, and had no idea I had tried to move with them. They said it’s not the first time it’s happened with Unpakt. When I reached out to Unpakt with my concerns and asking them to fix this issue, I never received a response. Don’t use this company, just book moving companies directly.

I had a fantastic experience using Unpakt to book my move! The entire process was incredibly easy and streamlined. Absolutely DO NOT use Unpakt for your move. I booked a move 3 weeks in advance and find out the day of the move that, in fact, the moving company had not confirmed the move. No update from Unpakt, no attempt to find other movers No answer from any phone calls or messages sent on the morning of the move. I had to book a different moving company by myself on moving day DO NOT use a middleman for your move, as they will take a cut for doing absolutely nothing. Book directly with the moving company for better piece of mind. In fact, you can use Unpakt website to find moving companies but then reach out to them directly!

Unpakt is a moving broker. Stay away. I own a moving company that provided one of their customers 5 star service. Unpakt has not paid me for my services to their customer. I've called, left messages and emailed them dozens of times and they WILL NOT RESPOND. Please, I urge you, support the moving company directly by booking your move through the mover directly. Search for movers near you and find a reputable company with good reviews and book your move through them. Unpakt is not operating ethically and is stealing money from small hard working businesses.

Book directly with the movers. Unpakt silently deleted my entire inventory and downsized the truck the night before the move and didn’t answer my calls, voicemail, or email the following morning. The site also failed to save a phone number update meaning the movers had no way to contact me.
