I am thrilled to offer this review for Zack and his team at Valley Habitats who recently completed a new deck and French door project at our home in City Heights. We had an idea about what we were wanting to accomplish but needed some help advising and solidifying our vision. From Zack’s initial visit to discuss general ideas to follow up visits with Project Mgr Andre, and lead carpenter Rick, we felt extremely confident we had chosen the perfect team. From the moment we signed the contract to the final nail in the deck, the entire experience was nothing but positive. Administratively Valley Habitats was on point - their communication flow via email, text, and/or phone was timely and consistent throughout. I was never left wondering. We are very happy with our new garage! Our neighbors have given us many compliments about the beautiful interior and exterior. We installed an AC unit, but have not needed to use it because it is always cool and pleasant inside the garage. Our neighbors' garages get very hot, so we are happy that Valley Habitats was able to provide us with great insulation (including an insulated door). They even went above and beyond by adding an exterior concrete step and taking further action to address problems with the building plans provided by our previous contractor (who flaked out on us). Valley Habitats was able to pick up the project within a week after we signed the contract, which we appreciated since we had been waiting on the process for such a long time with the previous contractor. Contacted Zack to get his opinion on correcting previous work that had been done at my house. He came out and was able to advise me on my options and offer guidance on how to go about fixing it. Top notch professionalism and I greatly appreciate the help he offered. I will be contacting them in the future when I want to remodel.

I am so happy I chose Valley Habitats for the major renovation of my craftsman home in South Park. Zack, Tom, and Andre (as well as their entire crew) did an amazing job from the early design and planning stage, all the way through the last finishing touches of the project. They were very meticulous in their attention to detail, especially in the way they finished up every last element to produce a result that exceeded my expectations. They were easy to work with, and Zack (the owner) was always present and available to me anytime I needed his attention. They were very respectful of my budget limitations and worked hard to comply with the timetable that they laid out for the project.
