The hole roofing team was fast, efficient, and took meticulous care of our property. They showed us incomplete attic venting and, in some cases, nonexistent venting in one area of roofing from a more recent add-on build done before we bought the house, that we would never have known about. I used Van Derhoof Roofing 25 years ago and they did an excellent job at that time, so when it was time to replace my roof, I again called Van Derhoof. They were very responsive. The proposal was clear and detailed and I was able to see several homes in the area that they recently completed to see the workmanship and color. When it was time to replace the roof, their men were very professional and efficient. They completed the roof on my house and garage all in 1 day. They had several people just on cleanup as the old shingles were removed from the roof including tools that magnetically picked up all of the discarded nails. Professional and obviously very skilled workers and the whole process from beginning to end was great. About 12 guys completed the job in a single day. Just as an extra note, I got 6 quotes and made the right choice.

My experience was excellent at all levels. The employees were courteous and professional. My first contact was Jim M who provided the original estimate (which ended up being quite a bit higher but not a surprise considering the condition of my 30+ year old roof and our unwillingness to cut corners to provide anything less than the best - which is what I got). Van Derhoof just finished putting a new roof on our home. They did a great job. They arrived as scheduled with a crew that clearly took pride in their work. They had everything they needed to complete the roof in a single day. They took great care in covering up plantings and moving deck furniture to keep it out of harm’s way. The supervisor even took pictures to make sure everything was put back as it had been. Roof looks great. We used Van Derhoof many years ago and we are glad we went back to them for this job.
