We had an active leak with water coming into our basement directly below the chimney, so we called Van Martin Roofing. Jeremy and Shawn arrived promptly at 8:00 AM as promised and did a very thorough inspection of our roof and the flashing around the chimney. Everything there was in good condition, but they didn’t stop until they found the real issue—a vent on the chimney that was missing its cover. They even performed a water test to confirm their findings, and it showed the water was coming in through a furnace vent. Jeremy and Shawn truly went above and beyond. They were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. I’m very grateful for their prompt service and for pinpointing the problem so quickly. What an incredible experience from start to finish. Blake came out and gave me an honest explanation for why my roof was leaking, and I appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to move forward with Van Martin—he even encouraged me to get additional quotes. A couple of days later, Jeremy and Shawn arrived, and within an hour the leak was completely fixed. I can’t thank the team enough for their professionalism, honesty, and quality of work. I can’t say enough good things about this company! Starting from Zach coming out to the house and inspecting the old roof and then him having to deal with my questions all the time about all the different options. He even came out on his day off to bring me a sample! His sales pitch is seasoned and was not aggressive which is a breath of fresh air compared to all the other companies I had come out to give an estimate. I was told 4-6 weeks from signing to date of completion. I signed the papers 4/26 and the roof was installed on 5/15, very happy with that as well! Scott and Josh came out for a warranty check. I had a concern that some of the shingles from our roof replacement December 2024 might have come up. They came and thoroughly checked out the roof and found that there was nothing wrong with the shingles. None of the shingles were damaged or shifted by wind or snow. Scott and Josh did notice some cracks in the top of the chimney and, after I gave them permission, they took measurements for a quote to fix the damage. I like their initiative. Van Martin roofing was referred to us by another professional we use regularly. We have a complex roof and it leaked just as we were starting to get some other work done at our house. Jim, the project estimator came out and waited until I got home so we could go over the project and get it started as soon as possible. Within a week they were here and did a great job. Got everything finished before the snow fell.
