Van Metre Hall Parking Garage

I don’t know why they pay for an attendant to be there. They might as well save money and put up a sign that says “figure it out.” The machine wasn’t giving a ticket so I called for help. The lady (immediately annoyed that I called) came over and couldn’t get the machine to give a ticket. it was obviously out of paper. She said to just go through. When I asked how I would get out with nothing to scan she replied “do you want to go in or not.” I again asked how I could get out without a ticket (since I would leave after staffed hours she wouldn’t be there) and she said “go in or leave” and walked away.

The parking garage is good if you taking classes in Founder Hall, but one of the parking assistants is extremely rude to the drivers. She is constantly yelling at people that are confused about what entrance to drive through. Some students choose to park on the street to save money.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The parking attendant is rude and unhelpful. In fact, I think they would get more business if it were staffed by no one.

The garage was okay, but there was only a single exit and the credit card scanner was malfunctioning with no cash payment accepted, which meant it took me more than 20 minutes to exit the garage, requiring a telephone call and assistance who was called in by the building security.

This was ok to have a parking in the city
