We contacted Vandalia Blacktop & Sealcoating about repairing and sealing our parking lot. They came out quickly and gave us a written estimate, and educated us on the process. Highly recommend for all you blacktop & sealcoating needs!

Poor quality of prepping led to softening of the asphalt. Just argued about fixing it! We just had to pay Gradeco $11,000 to fix what Vandalia Blacktop would not! When it was opened up it was obvious that poor workmanship on Vandalia Blacktop’s part caused it. I would never use this company ever again. They are awful. They wanted us to remove this. We talked with an attorney and they stated that it would cost us more than the $12,000 it cost us to repair it so we didn’t follow up with legal action. If they want to reimburse us the $12,000 it cost us to fix their improperly installed blacktop I am happy to say they stood behind their mistake and remedied it! We contracted Vandalia Blacktop in August of 2020 to completely tear out our existing blacktop driveway (based on their statement that by doing this we would never have to worry about the drive again). We also had some additional blacktop installed. By the spring of 2021, several areas along one section of the driveway (where we never had a problem before) began cracking and softening. I tried several times to get Vandalia Blacktop to resolve the issue, but they only tried to find other reasons for the failure. They tried to say we had a commercial driveway, which wasn't true. They tried to say we had commercial trucks driving on it, which wasn't true. It became apparent they didn't want to make it right. We would not recommend Vandalia Blacktop for any work at this point.
