Vanguard was very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. We had a new sump system installed and they took the time to present different options and after the work was completed they helped with a full overview on use and maintenance of the system in a very patient way. The quality of work was top-notch.

Vanguard was very professional and did had a great system for intake. They did a great job replacing the spout to my shower. It looks like it was always there. They choose hardware that matches the rest of the shower really well too. I would definitely call them again.

Jan did a bunch of work for us. Toilet repair, sump pump replacements, and an ejector pump upgrade. He is meticulous and clearly cares about doing a good job and explaining it to you so you understand the details. I appreciate that and plan to use him on our next plumbing project too.

It's simple. Jan is the greatest plumber on the planet. He is not only the consummate professional but explains everything that he sees and proposes before the work is done. And the work will get done - Jan will execute and take care of your issues, almost over the top. Our home is over 100 years old and had massive root issues in the sewer line. After wasting money on a number of incompetent companies I finally found someone who cared. Vanguard is not cheap, but this is the best value in Chicago. Please pay a real professional to do the job right rather than serially wasting money on people who never solve the problem. Jan is transparent and will insist you see what is going on.
