Vermont Foam Insulation

I am so thankful for the job that VT Foam Insulators did in our basement. We have a 160 year old fieldstone foundation that was always damp, drafty, and incredibly cold in winter. Now it is tight, dry, and probably the warmest place in our house. I actually feel confident using it as storage space, and the drop in humidity will be so much better for the structure.

I have used VFI in the past to insulate my garage, so when I made the decision to "tighten up" my house, VFI seemed the safe choice. With the help of Efficiency Vermont ( 5K rebate) and VSECU (interest free loan), I contracted with VFI to perform the insulation work in my crawl space and attic. I had to vacate the premises for 3+ days, and when I returned it was as if no one had been working there.
