Vic's Heat & Air

We really like Vic and his team. They are prompt and do good work. My 4-star rating is due to my 10yr parts and labor warranty. I had a coil leak the Freon, creating one visit to charge the unit and get me cool again ($400), this included a splash of vinegar down the drains and a brief external hosing units off as well. The second visit to install the coils ($300). I was thinking 10yr parts and labor warranty with a unit failure would be free. This was well worth the price if no warranty, but it clearly states on original receipt 10 years parts and labor. Make sure you talk to Vic personally and understand warranties and any potential charges, as we commonly find, some things aren’t exactly what they say they are. Seems like the manufacturers would have to stand behind these costs

I was charged for work that wasn't performed and also charged $165 for a $31 capacitor. I called to try to make this right and found no help. Here is my response to the owners response below- I was there at 3 pm and asked to buy a capacitor. He wouldn't sell just the part and insisted that he sends a crew out. I told him it was not a big deal because I had a window unit that would get me through until the next day. He insisted. The crew is there at 4:30 and replaced the $20 capacitor and went on their way. I was pleased until I got the bill for $150 service call and $150 parts. I called him up for an explanation and he gave me a list of things his crew performed. They didn't do any of those things. Our air conditioning stopped working one late hot afternoon; we called Vic’s, left a message and got a call back at 8:00 PM that a tech was on his way. Dan diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced a capacitor and we had cooling. Knowledgeable, quick response, highly recommend.

I have used Vic's for several years. Everytime we've used their services, it has been fantastic. They have fould and serviced issues before they became a major problem. They are very competitive on their prices.

My unit was very dirty outside and needed attention to make it run more efficient. Checked air duct and air handler unit in attic too. Run’s 100% better now.
