After living in Europe this past year, I’ve gotten used to climbing medieval towers for a view. In Boston, you take an elevator instead, and in seconds you’re above it all. View Boston delivers exactly what you hope for: a sweeping, uninterrupted panorama that makes the city’s layout finally make sense. From above, the Charles River curves like a deliberate design choice, Fenway sits tucked into its neighborhood grid, and the brownstones of Back Bay stretch in orderly rows before dissolving into green. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the harbor and beyond. The Prudential Tower itself was completed in 1964 and was once the tallest building in New England. For decades, it defined the Boston skyline, and standing here feels like stepping into a mid-century vision of the future. The

I’ve been to the view two times and of all my travels this is hands-down, the best viewpoint of the cities I’ve visited. The bar is attended by great knowledgeable bartenders who bring the experience to a new level. I took my six friends with me there to experience this for the first time and they were in all with the view and the Christmas decor. The elevator ride is fantastic with the video inside and it is a great spot to stop in when you are visiting Boston to have a cocktail. It’s a must due for great pictures. Military families visiting there is a military discount that you can purchase there at the kiosk. Plan for minimum 45 minutes here.

Such an amazing view. Tickets are expensive (more than the Museum of Fine Arts) especially in the winter when the outdoor deck is closed something they don't tell you until after you pay and are at the top. But you can't argue with the view and cool informational computers that show you exactly what you point it at. And the final attraction is nothing short of draw dropping an entire model of Greater Boston with music and videos protected onto it!

Came here with my husband on a Saturday in December. Was really looking forward to going into the bar area since it was holiday themed but the wait was so long so we said screw it and took pictures through the windows. The View outside was gorgeous! We went for sunset which we didn't get a sunset because it was cloudy out but it was still really nice to see Boston up high from daylight to darkness! The inside areas were nice with indoor seating and the diorama with the moving display was realty cool! We will definitely be back in warmer weather for a nice sunset!

Seeing cities from an aerial view hits different. Every time I go to a city, I love to check out the observatory. While I was in Boston, I knew a visit to View Boston was a must! I visited View Boston on a Saturday. It was busy as expected, but I was able to get a ticket and head up without waiting. My goal was to go around sunset to make the experience even more magical. 🌇 From the moment you step into the elevator, the experience feels unforgettable. At the top, you are greeted with breathtaking views of the Boston skyline and harbor, along with a bar, café, interactive city exhibits, and a gift shop full of unique souvenirs. There are so many photo opportunities, perfect for capturing memories or showing off your Boston adventure on social media. 📸 Whether you are planning a date ni
