A truly fantastic and amazing job by an outstanding company. My old balcony was beyond dilapidated and after being ignored by 2 decking contractors that I had reached out to I contacted Viking Fence and Deck. Rick got back to me the very next day and was out at my place a few hours later. We discussed a couple of options and I elected to go with a big upgrade from the original size/shape and design. Work started exactly when they said it would begin and was completed without any delays or missed days. We contracted with Viking in July 2024 to install 200 feet of upscale fencing along one side of our property. The work was scheduled for August 2024. The installers arrived on the agreed date and time. Within two weeks the fence began to fail. Viking will say that this is due to: 1)Hurricane damage; and, 2)Poor materials. Neither of these claims is true. The fence was installed one month prior to hurricane Helene and upon further investigation several of the posts were installed too far apart compromising the integrity of the fence. Furthermore, the installers did not follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Viking attempted to repair the fence a couple of times; however, the fence continued to fail. I had to have my 45’ front porch replaced due to sinking. The concrete pad and the vinyl post and railings needed to be replaced. I had no issues with finding a good concrete guy who did a fantastic job taking out the old and pouring the new concrete pad. The issue I was having was getting someone to return a phone call to have new post and railings put on. I got really lucky when Viking Fence returned my call. I explained what I was looking for and was told someone would be calling me. I had a call from a gentleman, Adam Stone from Viking. We talked and he came out to Look at the job. Adam took the measurements and gave me the options of Vinyl or White powder coated aluminum. My wife and I decided on the aluminum post and railings. These are all custom made and install. Every single person in Viking Fence and deck were so professional so understandable. Their job was impeccable. They were excellent communicators, and that was a big thing for me. They went above and beyond the minute I came home to see the work literally, they made my dreams Come true to a point that I was speechless I was just holding back tears of gratitude for each and every one of them 100% Recommend them. I know I didn’t do wrong on going with them!
