Vilardo's Complete Masonry LLC

Pete came out and repaired a wall that a previous “masonry” contractor fixed for me. The previous work was terribly done had gaps everywhere and continued to leak and everyone I called turned me away for repair. Pete was able to remove all mortar and redo the work and its looks brand new again! He worked diligently before the winter hit to ensure my wall wouldn’t leak or bust apart once the cold weather set in. Couldn’t be more thankful and happy with the work he did.

I had a relatively small, but intricate tuck point job covering six separate areas. I have high standards, but Pete met them. I will hire Pete Villardo again for my next masonry job!

Pate was great to work with! He was responsible and always let us know when he was coming. There some hiccups with his situation that caused the project to be drawn out. But the quality appears to be excellent (to my non-contractor eyes). The mortar color looks very similar to the old grout, so over time it should blend in well. There are some divots in the yard from the equipment. We’ll have to have that fixed. I wish I had known and asked the machinery stay on the driveway. If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would.but thought 4 stars was too low. Overall I’d definitely recommend Pete for your job. Kind and reliable person.

Pete and his son did a terrific job of restoring a flight of steps and a low garden wall for us, and I am tremendously relieved to know that I can call on them for future masonry needs. (Cleanup was also scrupulous, so don't get worried when you see the mess that's involved!) Given how ubiquitous, even famous, the steps and stone walls of hilly Cincinnati are and how few the genuine masons -- let alone one with 40 years of experience like Pete -- I wonder what the future holds. (The fellow who built our walls and walkways 12 years ago called himself "one of the last," and retired soon after.) "Most people seem to think stonework is low maintenance," says Pete. I wanted a back door bricked up and a new opening made for a sliding door. Pete took most of the old brick and used it but had to find new brick. The brick on my house was hard to match up but Pete did a good job matching up brick for a house built in the 80s.
