Village Movers and Storage

I was looking for trustworthy movers after a bad experience with movers I met on U-Haul “Moving Help” app. I had a partially loaded 26’ U-Haul truck, an almost empty 10x10 local storage unit and a full 10x10 local storage unit. Nick and I spoke by phone on the day of my move. He brought Donald and BJ and his company truck. Within 30 minutes my two storage units were loaded onto their truck. When we got to my rental property we had 1 hr 20 minutes remaining on the two hour move I had signed up for. Everything was unloaded and placed exactly where I wanted, no issues. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and the fee I was charged.

I used Village Movers and Storage for my move in Ocala, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth and stress-free. The manager was a super nice guy, he came out personally to assess what needed to be moved before giving a quote, which I really appreciated. He was incredibly flexible with scheduling both his visit and the actual move day, working around my busy calendar without any hassle. The team of movers showed up right on time and were so friendly and helpful throughout the process. They handled all my furniture with great care, wrapping everything securely and making sure nothing got damaged. What impressed me most was their efficiency. They finished the job in half the estimated time, which ended up reducing my overall bill significant

My mom passed away and we had to figure out how to get her piano from Florida to Texas… AND we had to have it done by the end of the month (and it was already the middle of the month). So with time constraints and all, Village Movers (Nate) worked with me to make it happen. The guys that came to move the piano were great! Very nice and got it done quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated Nate’s assistance and straightforward approach to our needs. I would definitely use this company again.

I would not use this company. They broke our bookcase and said they could “fix” it, but it’s made of compressed wood. A broken leg on that type of furniture cannot be repaired no amount of glue or guesswork will change that. Several boxes clearly marked FRAGILE were crushed or broken open. When we raised concerns, we were told, “Anything you pack we cannot insure.” Not an apology. Not accountability for their movers breaking or crushing clearly labeled items just a disclaimer. Our belongings were originally scheduled to arrive on Monday. We were asked if Tuesday would be okay due to a storm, which we agreed to. Then we were told Wednesday instead. Second time The Villages Movers has come to our rescue and helped us out of a moving glitch. They are so responsive and made me feel confident about hiring them. The crew that came were super personable, professional and strong. I will definitely call them next time
