Pro tips: the North Market is few steps away from here. If you make any purchase there, you can ask vendor to give you a parking voucher. The voucher will give you 2 hours free parking and $1/hour for extended time. This is VERY HELPFUL for certain special event days that cost $25 regardless of parking time. Here is how to use the voucher - insert your parking ticket into the machine, then scan the voucher QE code on the same machine to see the price change.

I only parked less than 1h and I have the validated ticket from the merchant. The staff at the gate insist that I need to pay the $2 regardless.

It's a garage... You park your car here. Pay attention to one way signs. The street exit is on level 2, and there's a party station near the elevator on 2 in the northeast corner of you want to use cash. Big trucks should not use the end spots.

Terrible signage and staffing. Garage is filthy, but more importantly we visited the market, validated our ticket and immediately left. The validated ticket did not work and the staff said we took too long after validation (was less than 5 minutes). Refused to assist and was absolutely rude about it. Spent a whole $1 to get out which I’m sure they paid more in credit card fees vs just looking at the timestamp of our receipt. This gentleman did a great job reinforcing our opinions on visiting the area.
