Ian was hired by my next door neighbor whose house was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene and completely destroyed by storm surge of hurricane Milton in September and October of 2024. Shortly after hurricane Milton Ianappeared on site and did considerable work with a crew to brace the collapsing structure. The house was then left for two years much as it was after the hurricane with hurricane debris all over the yard and literally no attempt whatsoever to clean it up or remove the debris. Our side by side properties are (were) located on the bay in the middle of what is officially known as the “Lemon Bay Watershed”. Our homes were originally built at approximately the same elevation.
