We had Walker come out and check on a giant silver maple in our front yard that was hanging over the house and part of the neighbor property. It didn't look healthy due to several hollows and some noticeable rot abut 8' feet up. Plus, it was obvious the tree had dropped limbs on the house before and we had a decent size one come down last winter. The crew was great at getting the tree down safely using a crane because of the power lines and other obstacles around it (neighbors house, our house, etc.) and it came down without a hitch. I watched the progress throughout the day and was more than impressed by the team's skill and their incredible attention to keeping the work site and landing pad swept and safe. Walker Tree Care was a great match for our project. It was not an easy one. Here’s what impressed us: • During office hours Brionna cheerfully took our calls right away. If she couldn’t answer a question on the spot, she’d get right back to us. • Walker’s Tree Care Consultant, Sean, showed up right on time to hear what we needed. He’s very honest and forthright. Shortly afterward he emailed a proposal/estimate that was very organized and easy to understand. It included photos that he took while he was here to avoid any miscommunication. • One day prior to the actual work, Mark and Julius stopped out to go over the job and answer questions. Walker Tree is hands down the most professional tree care service in our area. When a tree fell on our home, the Walker team removed it safely and with as little damage as possible. From the first phone call ( handled by Brianna) they understood how dangerous this job was, and despite numerous complications, did not charge more than the original estimate. Tim, Brandon, Dan and Sam functioned as a well-coordinated unit , doing their best to finish as the wind and rain picked up. They even managed to get a tarp up to cover the gaping hole in our roof. Friendly, prompt, safe, neat and professional service at a reasonable price. The Walker team removed a maple that we had planted 29 years ago that was root bound and blocking a view of Cazenovia Lake. My wife and I are very happy with the work. We will place a large Martin birdhouse on the trunk.

The crew arrived on time and reviewed their procedures. Each crew member was extremely professional and competent at their jobs. Walker Tree Service has completed work for me in the past with the same proficiency. I would recommend them for any of the services they provide.
