Walmart Supercenter

Oh Wal-Mart. I miss when you were "only American made" hired elderly greeters and didnt lose millions to the blight of self checkout. This particular store is in Davenport, Iowa. So I -think- I saw another white person.

On 2/2/26 I had an appointment at the Elmore St Walmart (Davenport, IA.) tire shop to have tire work done. On arriving and meeting the service personnel I advised them that I had originally come to have two tires looked at but was just going to replace all four tires. We did some pricing on tires and a decision was made on which ones I wanted. I also told them that I wanted to replace the TPMS sensors. The person stated that they could take care of everything and went to pull the car into the shop. A few minutes later, after the tire(s) were removed the service person came back in and told me they couldn't do the TPMS sensors because they didn't have the tool to do it but they could sell me the sensors to take somewhere else and have them done. I do most of my shopping at Walmart because i always am able to get my groceries and such delivered the same day. And all hours too! Plus all the extras you get w a plus membership!! And returns are a snap! Very pleased!

The lady that works self checkout with the mask on (always the same lady) is nothing but rude EVERY time I visit. I asked if I could please move to a new register as the card reader had the sticker pulled off and it said “void”, as if someone was trying to place a skimmer on it. She was extremely short, rude, and annoyed (as evidenced by her eye roll, head shake, and dismissive tone). When I apologized to explain why I didn’t feel comfortable using the card reader she said “I’m not talking to you”.

Was told at customer service I wasn't allowed to return a Lego set without a receipt even though Walmart website says I can. Was told it's their own person store policy because to many are stolen but was told another store may allow it. Ridiculous that own store is ignoring a company policy.
