Walnut Street Garage

Prices are not posted until you get to the gate, at which point you have no choice but to enter the garage. The stairwell took us to a road that passes under the buildings where some sketchy characters were hanging out. At the end of our stay, we could not re-enter the stairwell because the door locked behind us. Since there were no signs directing us to another stairwell or elevator, my daughter and I were forced to walk up the vehicle ramp against the flow of traffic, which is obviously dangerous.

I was at this garage for 2 days. Day one was not that bad. However, day number two not so good. I had to go in and out of the garage three times to find a parking spot and the first person was partially helpful on the intercom and the second person was in Texas and was no help at all make sure you know where you're going and what you're doing if you go to this parking garage.

Parked here at 5:45 to go to dinner, left the garage at 7:30. Paid $17.00!!!’ Outrageous!!

Do not park Here! If you are thinking about staying at the Hilton next door, go somewhere else!!! Their parking is this garage! I had two rooms at the Hilton on 7/7 in the morning on 7/8 we got a late check out, noon, went to exit the garage and our Hilton voucher would not work. The message kept saying voucher expired so in order to leave I had to pay $30. I had already paid the Hilton $20 for parking! I have contacted the garage multiple times to try to get refunded for the over charge. All I get is the run around, they can't find this transaction, etc.. I will never stay at that Hilton again and I will never park at any garage owned by these thieves!

We paid at the Arcade level and didn't realize we were to take the ticket with us. At the gate, we couldn't leave the garage. My wife had to run back to the Arcade to get our ticket. We had paid $10, and because our departure was not within 10 minutes, we had to pay an additional $10 using a different credit card. If we had lost our ticket we would have had to pay an additional $30. Had passes to Whitaker Center years back and the garage was usually packed. Today it was empty and I can understand why. I will never set foot in the Walnut Street Garage again. I can understand the automation probably due to crime and robbery. I guess you just don't go downtown anymore.
