Wash-A-Rama Coin Operated Laundry

This was genuinely the worst, most disgusting laundromat I’ve ever been to. The irony of a place where you go to clean your clothes being so filthy could almost be funny if my skin wasn’t still itchy. I blame myself for even allowing myself to stay and do my laundry. For a place with so many cameras and so many signs about being watched, I’m surprised not a single employee or owner sees how disgusting the condition of this place is.

Machines work "well" some seat's are available, change machine works, parking can be tricky but there's ample parking you just might have to carry your items a manageable distance (for most) They also offer a "Wash Dry and fold" Service, I have not used it but it does say schedule your first Pickup today, I do not know if p/u and Delivery is included, but the signage say's it's $1.25 per pound, with a 15lb minimum for Norwood residents and 20lb minimum outside Norwood. The facility is "fairly clean,as are the machines" especially compared to the other Laundry Matt a little further down the road on Washington Street. There was a gentleman who got very upset when I started taking pictures, I'm not sure why, but it was handled in a civilized fashion.... here are a few pics...

Place had no hot water… we noticed after started washer and adding detergent that the rubber gaskets are all mildew…dryers lint drawers were full…. Just not a great experience…. We met the owner at Dedham day and she said it was all new and clean…. But seems nothing had been done to the laundry mat

Machines have mold in the detergent holes. Machine glass doors are quite dirty. The machines also steal your money. Someone has to maintenance these machines and get the moldy smell out the location I think there’s a leak because there was a weird smell. Also really expensive considering the machines and condition. Ghetto places should have ghetto prices you cannot charge top dollar for poor service. I washed my clothes but Im not happy. Also the change machine only takes 10$ 5$ and 1$ bills says it takes 20$ but it doesn’t not. Then the bill changed was out of service. Overall bad experience

It seems this place is not cleaned or maintained. Mold growing in the washers , lint traps not cleaned and also look like some of them are growing stuff. Just gross . Do not waste your time going here.
