Watson Materials

Called around noon to order 15 yards of cedar mulch for a kids play area. Had the delivery split into 2 trips so I could spread it out between drop offs with the first round delivered by 2pm the same day. Bob (delivery driver) was fantastic and a big help. Came back with the second round within an hour and I was able to complete the job by dinner time. I have used Watson in the past for landscape mulch, materials and brick pavers for a front walk as well as paver projects at my last home and have always been satisfied.

These guys were great. Was just doing a rock pad on the side of my garage and needed sand then the stone. Delivered both on the days I needed. The guys in the office got everything easily setup, and the delivery was perfect - the driver backed into the spot i needed and spread it as he drove out for both the sand and rock. Nice guy. Took me way less time to finish things than if they had left in one big pile. Price was very reasonable. Would use again in a heartbeat. Picture of finished pad included.

It's a disheartening experience when you pre-pay product delivery, 4 days ahead of a confirmed delivery date. On the morning, you prep the area for delivery and spend the 5 hours, waiting on that delivery. If you rely on timely deliveries and clear communication, don’t call Watson Materials (1500 S County Trail, East Greenwich) to feel valued and respected. Watson Materials will leave you feeling neglected and inconvenienced. There was no communication which just exacerbates the problem, leaving me feeling stranded and unheard. Ultimately, without any basic customer service communications channels there is no satisfaction or loyalty. No apologetic response and no attempt to reschedule delivery. Way Way overpriced on materials. On top of that they make no attempt to get any debris out of their material. Stone and mulch is covered with leaves. They make no attempt to clean it out. I'm sorry but when I spend 650 dollars for 12 yards of mulch. There should be no leaves or any debris in it at all!

Amazing co and service. The driver, Bob, is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. My landscaper (this is for a commercial building) says the mulch is the very best. I would not use anyone else. They've been great to us.
