Called and scheduled an appointment to remove a ceiling fan and replace it with one I bought. Two gentleman came to my house to install and while they were very nice it was obvious they get paid by the hour. Was charged 1.5 hours worth of work for 2 guys to install a simple fan. No power tools just sat on the floor with a basic screwdriver putting each piece together. Had asked about some other work being done in the future but I’ll go somewhere else now.

I am an electrician from local 474 in Memphis, Tennessee. My grandmother lives in North Carolina and has several jobs done on her residence. I’m not the type to try to ridicule the work of others, especially when I’m obviously not even working. But I can’t deny that they’ve done right by my grandmother. The work was well done and I even noticed that the work was completed in a way that actually saved my grandmother money. They worked on a shed that my grandmother needed power to so that freezers could be used. Again, the ingenuity of the electrician saved her money and powered the freezers. Everything was well made. My grandfather’s last Thanksgiving meal came partially from those freezers. And it’s also a testament to me about how important even the smallest jobs may end up being to the
