Weathershield Roofing and Repair

We just had our roof replaced by Weathershield. Fred helped us decide what we needed. He kept all his time promises with meetings, scheduling of work on the roof and picked up all our calls or got right back to us. The men who did the work were on time and worked hard all day. They did a thorough clean up each day. I highly recommend them and I appreciate the great job they did on our roof. We are very pleased.

My wife had them replace her roof a year ago, and she initially thought that everything was ok, but now we are selling the house and have learned just how shoddy their work was (and possibly even in violation of city code respecting roofing over old roof). They installed no flashing (or even caulk) around the chimney, built over old roof, and practiced poor workmanship (not enough nails, etc) on the basic labor. It will cost us almost as much as an honest roofer would have charged in the first place to fix the work Fred and his crew did. Another roofer (widely recommended for his honesty) has estimated that the roof will start leaking badly within the year, due to all the corners they cut. And I see a lot of positive reviews here, but the thing is most folks (myself included) simply don't

I have been in the Commercial Property Development/Management industry for 30 years and learned very quickly how important maintaining the properties roof's is. It has been my experience that Fred and his employees take extremely good care of their customers and still believe in customer service. I would recommend Fred to any and all that ask for my advice on roofers in Central Texas.
